What is a "Swedish" finish
The term “Swedish” finish is often used incorrectly to describe a water based finish. A water based system such as Bona Traffic is totally different than a true Swedish finish. Water based systems have a low VOC and are relatively inert. "Swedish” finishes, also called conversion finishes, are a chemical reaction and have a high VOC and are relatively toxic. We offer water and oil based systems, but do not offer Swedish finish.
